The tall tube mountings that form the frame of this vintage cocktail ring have a distinctly 1960’s feel. The repeated circles are echoed in the bezel setting and the cut of the sapphires and diamonds. We’ve restored this vintage ring with a brand new, eight prong head of 14k yellow gold. This provides a wonderful framework for the Dravite tourmaline, a variety of tourmaline known for its deep, chocolate color and rich sparkle. This example has hints of green, and intense flight coming from the center of the stone.
