This particular antique piece is ornate, with a botanical feel and distinctly Etruscan vibe as well, which leads us to believe it was made during the Etruscan revival era in the late Victorian period, or early 1900’s. The curling, shell-like designs interspersed between the flowers are indicative of Art Nouveau styling of the early 1900’s as well. The base of the pin is a richly colored 14K yellow gold with lots of nice original patina, decorated with highly detailed leaves and small shining seed pearls.
