A personal favorite in the collection, the warm rosy tone of the gold in this Victorian piece is a lovely counterpoint to the brilliant blue of the zircon. The ring sits flush with the finger and the stone is well secured and protected by the etched, six-prong setting. Blue zircon was the original birthstone for the month of December and was a popular gem until the 1930’s when it was thought to have been mined out. Although it is still found in small quantities of small gems, large stones such as this are quite popular on the current market.
