The engraving on this vintage signet ring was so well done, we opted to leave it be, and hope that we found someone with an initial “IB” who loves it as much as we do!
Signet rings have a long history. Originally carved with a Family Crest, they were used to seal letters and documents by embossing the crest in wax. Over time they have evolved into day to day jewelry, which can be engraved with any crest, monogram or initial one desires.
